Saddly, it sounds like a game we were all looking forward to has been put to rest. As of right now, THQ is bleeding cash and has canceled an MMO they license from The Games Workshop.

Finally, after tons of bans, it looks as if STO is turning a corner for the better. With the recent release of the Season 5, we see 9 new Klingon ships for starters. In fact, if you log in during December, click in the C-Store and claim the Qorgh Refit for Free!

Overall, there have been a lot of updates. It appears Perfect World Entertainment has booted the dead weight and is now on a full course press to grind out a better way to play. Some of the highlights include:

• Duty Officer System – Very much a fun time in itself



• Borg Advancement – New RED ALERTS that involve fun ground combat against the Borg



• Skills Revamp – A much clearer approach to the old skill tree.
• Mission Revamp – Take a look for replay, PvE (new STF setup), PvP, and of course the hourly events



• STF Revamp – Why budget all that time to play boring STFs, now each STF is broken into space and ground combat seperately thus allowing for you to do what you enjoy.
